Phil Hellmuth Tapped to Host Celebrity Casino Night Again
Tony Parker and his wife Eva will throw their second annual Celebrity Casino Night fundraiser in September, and Phil Hellmuth has stepped up to play host again.
"Phil's dynamic personality scored big during last year's event, and we are thrilled he has agreed to return," said Christiane Perkins-Garcia, Eva's Heroes executive director. "Having the biggest name in poker hosting our event adds a special touch to the poker tournament that will make for a very memorable night."
The Casino Night will take place at Pedrottie's North Wind Ranch in San Antonio Sept. 12, 2009. The fundraiser brings celebrities and others together to raise money for Eva's Heroes.
The evening will feature dinner, drinks and traditional casino games such as blackjack and roulette. There will also be silent and live auctions to raise money and the opportunity to play in a Texag Hold'em tournament.
Up for grabs in the charity poker tournament will be a seat in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. That's a $10,000 seat for the winner of the tournament and a potential shot at millions of dollars in prize money if they do well in the WSOP.
