David 'Chino' Rheem Wins APT Side Event
2008 November Niner David "Chino" Rheem proved his poker skills once again with a win at the Asian Poker Tour Macau Festival this weekend.
The APT kicked off its Macau leg last week and five events have already played out on the way to the main event scheduled to start Aug. 20. One of those five events was topped by Rheem.
He picked up a 64,200 HKD prize for taking down Event 4, Hong Kong Game Club No Limit Hold'em R+A. Since his seventh place finish in the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, Rheem has added a World Poker Tour win to his resume as well as a seventh place finish in an Aussie Millions event and second place in the LA Poker Classic H.O.R.S.E. event.
He's not the only one picking up wins in Macau at the APT. These are the winners of the events so far:
- Event 1: Jingyi Zhu
- Event 2: Chow Kut Fu
- Event 3: Bryan Huang
- Event 4: David "Chino" Rheem
- Event 5: Raymond Fu
